A little inside info. Gregg Allman and Jaimoe do not play on the last track
“Pony Boy”. And that is Dickey Betts & Butch Trucks slapping the hambone at
the end with Butch Trucks laughing on the fade.

The boy on the cover is Vaylor Trucks, son of drummer Butch Trucks. The
little girl on the back is Brittney Oakley, daughter of bass player Berry
Oakley. Berry Oakley only played on two songs (Wasted Words & Ramblin’ Man)
then was killed on a motorcycle. Lamar Williams who had played in a band
with Jaimoe before the ABB was asked to join to replace Oakley. The album
is: “dedicated to a brother, Berry Oakley”. I still have my old 33 1/3
copy. This is the best selling Allman Brothers album so far.
