Atlanta Rhythm Section - I'm Not Gonna Let It Bother Me Tonight

from the 1978 album Champagne Jam

Anybody listened to this song lately? I hadn't heard it for awhile and it just jumped out at me when I heard it again. Crap is screwed up! And this song from 35 years ago still nails it. So many songs in Southern Rock are timeless...

Written by Buddie Buie, Dean Daughtry and Robert Nix (RIP), take another listen to this and see how prophetic it is.

Tom McNamara says:

My wife and I were traveling in Ireland last year when we met another
couple at a B&B in Dingle. Turned out he was Buddy Buie, the manager and a
major song writer for ARS (and others). He gave us a CD with a bunch of his
songs on it along with his own narration of how the songs came about. Not
Gonna Let It Bother Me was one of them. A song that had been lost to me
over the course of time. Great tune. Thank you Mr Buie!!
