Edgar Winter – Frankenstein 2010

Edgar Winter had written the signature lick for Frankenstein several years before it was recorded, and even named Frankenstein, when he was touring with his brother, Johnny Winter.

Then with the advent of keyboard synthesizers Winter decided to put a strap on it and play it like a guitar. It’s pretty much aggreed that he was the first to do it.Here’s Edgar Winter and Rick Derringer along with the other stellar pickers that were out on Ringo Starr’s All Star Band in 2010.
